Our Learning

We have had an exciting few weeks exploring different aspects of our emotional and mental health. We used the book ‘The Colour Monster’ to help us understand the different emotions we feel. We created our own islands of personality which were inspired by the movie ‘Inside Out’. We understand that we are all unique and we can all feel different emotions at different times.

We have been working really hard to develop our knowledge of fractions. We can now identify and write fractions of shapes and amounts. We can place fractions on a number line and order fractions. We have been working extra hard to find equivalent fractions!

Have a great weekend.

Week 4 – Compassionate and Connected

P.E Reminder and Google Classroom

Just a quick reminder for all children to come to school tomorrow morning in an outdoor P.E kit. P.E will be on Wednesday and Friday for the rest of this term.

I have sent each child an invite asking them to join the P4P google classroom. I know that some children have already accepted this invite. I would appreciate if all children could accept the invite by the end of the week. From next week, I will start to use the google classroom for spelling homework.

Many thanks

Mrs P

P.E days and kit

I just wanted to update you that for the next two weeks P.E will be on a Wednesday and Friday morning. All P.E will take place outside and no changing will take place in school. Children can come to school in suitable outdoor P.E kit and can stay in this all day. Many thanks. Mrs Patterson

Welcome back

Hello and welcome to our P4P class blog!

It was so lovely to welcome the children back to school last week and get settled into our new classroom. We have been working really hard to learn and follow all our new health and safety routines. We made a lovely display to remind us how to keep safe in school – well done P4P!
